چکیده
The rocket motor test stand is the equipment used to motor's performance under controlled conditions. This measure thrust of Dextrose and ability components such as tube, fuel, nozzle cap itself. Before flight carried out, it must go through this test. In study, variations in are 2000, 2250, 2500, 2750, 3000 N. stands Aluminum 6063-T6 which has light density medium strength. Numerical simulations were out with Ansys Workbench software using finite element method. results static stress analysis show that greater thrust, maximum von Mises deformation. It inversely related safety factor. lower factor stand. fatigue simulation prediction life Rocket fails reach a 1 million cycle at N thrust.

متن کاملOne Dimensional Internal Ballistics Simulation of Solid Rocket Motor
An internal ballistics model has been developed for performance prediction of a solid propellant rocket motor. In this model a 1-D unsteady Euler equation with source terms is considered. The flow is assumed as a non-reacting mixture of perfect gases with space and time varying thermo physical properties. The governing equations in the combustion chamber are solved numerically by using the Steg...
متن کاملExperimental Investigation and Numerical Prediction of Fatigue Life in Force Fitted Fastener Holes
In this paper, the effect of interference fit on fatigue life of holed plate of mechanical joints was investigated experimentally. Fatigue tests were carried out on the holed specimens of Al-alloy 7075-T6 alloy. The interference fit process consists of force fitting a fastener into the hole with a negative clearance (diameter of the fastener is larger than of the hole) that produces beneficial ...
متن کاملQuasi-Static Numerical Simulation of Missile Staging
In this study, the missile staging process by implementing a side-injected jet is simulated numerically. The problem is considered to be axisymmetric and the thin shear layer approximation of Navier-Stokes equations along with an algebraic turbulence model is used in a quasi-static form for the calculations. The free stream corresponds to a very high altitude flight condition with a Mach number...
